I seen the shadows In the flames Dancing so freely On another plane Ooo how I envy Those vagabond Are all who wonder Truly lost? I seen the light Her disguise so bright Barely recognized The darkness hiding in plain sight Down below Don't lose your head now Don't lose your head now child You gotta run now, run don't ever stop Trust no one Trust no one Yeah the light It might shine once more But I will not Die a fool Consenting on betrayal Feeling ire in purgatory Only my creedence keeps me company With which I am free From your From your conspiracy
2.
These days I'm tripping Under sun That doesn't shine so brightly Maybe the moon Will be the one The light to guide me Across mountain plains Over posideons waves Travesrse the mortal plain Taking pleasure with pain And all it offers Yeah I'm going down slow Yeah going down slow No mortal man No god Can hurry me along on down Only when my time has come And I've run outta sun Will I move along Taking my time Why dont you Come along for the ride We're all fucked, its all lost So enjoy what we got All we got is time if you're a friend of mine Yeah I'm going down slow Yeah going down slow Yeah I'm going down slow Yeah going down slow The slower I go The more I got to savour The sower i go Why rush what's coming anyway

about

Two tracks from the upcoming album that showcase some of the more relaxed vibes the band has to offer. Recorded as far back as the Lay Your Bones sessions, these tracks, tho still brimming with live band energy, are much more cool jam tracks made up over a few drinks in the band room during the peak of summer.
